Over a surprisingly short time, electronic publishing has dramatically changed the lives of writers, publishers, and readers. A few years ago, the only way an author could make a living writing books was to enter into a series of contracts with a major publisher, usually by working through a literary agent. Today, you can create and publish books from your home, distributing eBooks through Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing, Barnes & Noble’s Nook Press, Apple’s iBook Authors, and other electronic and print distributors.
I’m the in the process of learning the mechanics of creating and publishing eBooks.
